The Natural History Museum

Short Description

The Natural History Museum is responsible for the maintenance and care of its vast natural history collections representing all parts of the kingdom of life, and of mineralogy. Its staff also undertake world-class research into the origins and evolution of our solar system, the Earth and life, into the natural diversity across species, habitats and ecosystems, and into the sustainability of natural systems. The NHM collaborates with many universities (UK, Europe and beyond) in research, postgraduate training and education, and also has an active programme of science engagement through its public exhibitions and events.
